Dear Caregivers and 5K Buddies,
As we shared in our email update this week, we will be moving forward with a site-based 5K model for all teams to close out the season.
We know this may feel disappointing, especially for those who were looking forward to celebrating together as one large community. At the same time, we have a meaningful opportunity to finish the season in a way that reflects what our girls have been learning all along—building confidence to boldly share their thoughts, ideas, and feelings; listening deeply; showing empathy; and lifting one another up.
Each team will host their own 5K celebration at their site, creating a space where every girl can cross the finish line surrounded by her own school community and the people cheering her on.
Our goal is to ensure that every participant still experiences a joyful, empowering, and memorable 5K celebration.
What this means for you:

Your child’s team will host their own 5K event at their school

More details, including date, time, and logistics, will be shared by your coaches

5K buddies will still play an important role in supporting and running alongside participants
We are here to support our coaches and teams every step of the way to make this a special and meaningful experience for each girl.
