The Limitless Legacy College Fund was created to celebrate the lasting impact of Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida by supporting alumna as they take the next step in their educational journey. This scholarship recognizes young women who have carried the program’s values into their high school experiences and beyond. If you are a Girls on the Run or Heart & Sole alumna ready to pursue your educational goals, we invite you to apply.
Eligibility
The Limitless Legacy College Fund is open to high school seniors who are alumna of Girls on the Run or Heart & Sole, and who participated in either program for a minimum of two seasons at a Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida site. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and plan to attend an accredited trade school, community college, college, or university in Fall 2026.
The scholarship will be awarded to two recipients and applied toward tuition. It is non-renewable. The value of each scholarship is $1,000. If awarded a scholarship, the recipient will be asked to attend a Girls on the Run Celebration 5K in their area at one of the following locations: Greater Alachua on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Santa Fe College; Greater Jacksonville on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the University of North Florida; or Greater Volusia on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Deltona High School.
Recipients must agree to grant permission for Girls on the Run of Northeast Florida to use photos and videos from the award presentation.

All application materials must be submitted by March 13, 2026.
Selection Process
Essays will be evaluated based on how clearly and thoughtfully the prompt is addressed, the strength of the supporting examples, and overall organization. Writing quality, including development, grammar, mechanics, style, and format, will also be considered.
